Biomechanics is an introductory university course that covers the history, basic principles, and applications of biomechanics in medicine and sports. Students will learn about kinematics, kinetics, joint mechanics, muscle mechanics, gait analysis, injury biomechanics, sports biomechanics, ergonomics, tissue biomechanics, and computational biomechanics through lectures, labs, and hands-on projects. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of how the human body moves and functions, as well as how biomechanics can be applied to improve performance, reduce injury risk, and enhance rehabilitation techniques.
