The scope of the course includes disease mechanisms, diagnostic biomarkers, therapeutic targets, cellular injury and adaptation, types of cellular injury (physical, chemical, biological), inflammation and repair mechanisms, genetic disorders, disorders of metabolism, immunopathology, neoplasia, fluid and hemodynamic disorders, endocrine pathobiochemistry, cardiovascular pathobiochemistry, renal pathobiochemistry, liver pathobiochemistry, and pulmonary pathobiochemistry.
